Thailand World Craft City (TWCC) 2023
Our founder, Myra Widiono, attended the Thailand World Craft City held in Khon Kaen on 7-9 December 2023.
The activity started with business matching and visiting tradeshow and craft exhibition. It was such nice experiences to meet new people and connect, also meeting the old friends from across the world.
At Thailand World Craft City – TWCC Network International Conference and Business Matching 2023, Myra Widiono presents a paper with the title, ‘Ulap Doyo – The Blossoming of The Exotism’, within the topic of Craft and Sustainable Business.
Myra presents how business with sustainable purposes has become very popular lately and implemented in the fashion industry, especially in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Micro/Small/Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). She also presents how 9R framework methods and evaluates the achievements and challenges of Ulap Doyo in fostering more sustainable craft with the aim of emphasizing sustainability and consciousness of nature and tradition.
